Hey everyone! I'm super excited to share my recent adventure to a special place in Bintulu - Tanjung Batu! Can you believe it used to scare me a few years ago because of the condition it was then. But guess what? They have upgraded the area and it is now 100 times better than before. No more overgrown bushes and dark lighted area.
It's become my go-to spot for jogging, relaxing, and hiking!
The first thing I noticed was how popular it is, especially at 5 and 6pm. Finding a parking spot is a challenge, but I still love it here! The views are stunning, and there are so many cozy spots to enjoy fresh coconuts.
Now, the place got a super cool upgrade! There are new walkways, a playground for kids, and even BBQ spots. So many fun activities for families! Just remember, no swimming, it's not safe.
There's plenty of parking space too. Yay! Plus, they really care about the environment with lots of rubbish bins.
Yesterday, I spent 2 hours chilling and catching the sun set. The strong wind was amazing, and we had yummy food and snacks. The chicken wings were out of this world! But the food stalls nearby were a bit pricey - so be careful.
And guess what? It's clean, which is a huge plus! I'll definitely come back for the nice views and photo opportunities. Who knows, maybe I'll meet a turtle next time which someone posted that they did!
